Angel Olsen

Angel Olsen was born in St. Louis Missouri and now resides in Asheville, North Carolina. Olsen has six studio releases with his name on them His most recent release is My Woman, All Mirrors Burn Your Fire for No witness half Way Home and Big Time. It's just that my mother is so good with children. She was adopted by her parents when she was just three years old and raised since birth. Olsen moved into Chicago in 2006 from California in the year 2006. In 2007, she was a member of Emmett kelly's Cairo Gang. Her previous album All Mirrors from 2019 featured darker, gothic-sounding synth-rock with deeply affecting excursions towards orchestral pop. Big Time marks the debut album in which Olsen sings about love that is queer. This is her first attempt at a traditional genre, traditional country. It makes sense in a certain way.

Ilkay Silk is the daughter of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, who was a well-known actor, director writer, producer, educator and Director of Drama, St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna was a child and watched her mother at work and attending the rehearsals for her plays.
